Getting started!


This blog is an English version of the project I have in Portuguese. Here I will share some choices I make in order to improve my own health and wellness, and live better! Enjoy the trip!Today I am going to talk about sweet potato. It is a very popular food option among muscle builders and weight lifters. Why? Because it is a good source of carbohydrate with low glycemic index. So it’s a good and clean source of energy! And can cooked in many ways.Sweet potato with lemon:I cooked the sweet potatoes in the steam. Then cut them in pieces. Put them in a fry pan with olive oil, salt, and oregano. Then serve with some lemon juice on the top. Delicious!!!


Other good reasons to eat it every day:- They are low in price
- Good source of fiber, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium and Vitamin C
- Low in calories
- High in proteins
- High levels of B6- The orange ones contains carotenoids
